how on earth is he a ball hog? sure, he takes at least one bad shot a game, and he barely played defense on the knicks, but ball hog? no sir. did you see whowe traded him for? now that brother is a ball hog.
if you watch any knicks game last season, there is no way for you to dislike jamal for he was the only one who played with some passion every night whodidn't quit on the team in january.
and the losing record is whatever, because if he played for the spurs, would his record be that bad? of course not. if he was the number one option for thespurs, would the record be that bad. probably so.

I love watching him because of how gifted he is offensively but I would never want him on my team. Whenever I see him play, his defensive effort isembarrassing.

I don't think of Jamal Crawford as being that much of a ball hog as people say... he is just prone to falling victim to awful shot selection (he definitelytakes more than one bad shot per game). He's a good (but streaky) shooter as evidenced by the fact that he can maintain a good 3pt% while hoisting up a lotof attempts, yet his overall FG% has always been terrible - a key sign of poor shot selection.
It's easy to think of Crawford as a ball hog because of the multiple highlights of him passing it off the backboard to himself, but he's always rackedup a lot of assists for an off guard and kept his turnovers down (an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.0+ is great for an off guard).

Dude is gifted def, he is always humble and a good team player.
He takes questionable shots but he is the type to sacrifice his game for the better of the team. Playing under Larry Brown was a perfect example of that.

I was gonna say that Maggette might be worse but he made it to the playoffs w/ the Clips that one year.
