Let's Turn This Post Into " Upcoming/Recommend A Scary Movie " Thread.

The horse running on a treadmill was so random in my opinion :lol

"SAW" needs to be over and done with. After the first two Saws, they got so bad.

Not true. I liked Saw IV's complexity, and Saw VI with the insurance industry undertones was a 100% on-point story for the time. Saw VI is probably my favorite of the sequels.

The only ones I consider bad are Saw V and Saw 3D. And Saw 3D would have been better if it had simply ended more "grandly," like with a much better montage. It also would have helped if Saw 3D hadn't been elements of two stories crammed into one 90 minute movie.

Lionsgate needs to redeem themselves with Saw VIII.

Anybody seen 31? Keep meaning to check it out.

It was OK. The thing that kills me about Rob Zombie is that as a director, he seems to only know how to do brutality. And a trailer park vibe. No tension. Little to no story crafting. The one thing I appreciated that he did was try to give Michael Myers' deal with the masks more backstory in the Halloween remake, but even that wasn't perfect, and it didn't lend anything to the established idea of Michael Myers as this unstoppable supernatural force. There's nothing that Zombie did in Halloween that can measure up to Donald Pleasence explaining what he saw in the eyes of Michael Myers. That bit STILL gives me chills.

So if you don't mind even more brutality, I'd say check 31 out on Redbox. I was hopeful about it, especially with it being set on Halloween. But it really wasn't anything special.

I've actually seen it since my last post,I liked it.Definitely worth the rental.Loved Richard Brake's character, I think he could make a really good Joker...

^^^ I saw this earlier on FB. This had me [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]. There was one they did for The Conjuring 2 that was pretty good also.

I want to see all of these. "SAW" needs to be over and done with. After the first two Saws, they got so bad.

Yeah, I agree! Saw is one of my favorite horror franchise. 5 and 7 were the worse ones.

I have the Saw collection on Blu-Ray so to say I'm a stan would be an understatement.
