Finally watched Terrifier and what a disappointment. Art's performance was pretty good but everything else was bad. Dumb kills, dumb characters, and nothing clever about any of it.

Same here, interesting how split the RT scores are with 47 critics and 74 audience. Straight forward story but done well I felt and the special effects were fine also. Movie had decent pacing and I never felt bored with the plot.
 
I'm very worried about it after what Green and McBride did to the Halloween series. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised but not holding my breath for something good.
That's true but I think the first Halloween was done very well. I'll chalk up Kills and Ends to them not expecting it being that big and Hollywood forcing the sequels.
