Let's Turn This Post Into " Upcoming/Recommend A Scary Movie " Thread.

i wanna watch this for alanah pearce and so far word of mouth for this one is good

the ones before were alright at best to me, anthology series like this are a hit or miss but with interesting ideas
I enjoyed the first 2. Viral was ok, had a few moments but the stories weren’t that good. 94 was meh, haven’t seen 99 yet.

I'm bummed The Substance is flying under the radar and now only has a 1030pm showing at the theater by me. Think I'll wait for it to hit streaming.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) is coming back to Regal cinemas 10/2 and 10/6. Would be really cool to catch that on the big screen.

I hear you. It's hard to justify a 2h20m movie starting at 10 30 on a weeknight. You'll be getting out after 1am easy.

BUT if you've been let down by all the horror releases this year and are itching for something unsettling then I promise you won't regret it.

What y’all watching for Spooky season!?

I’m watching IT FOLLOWS at the moment, random and not sure why it was first choice lol.
Movie isn’t scary but does well giving an eerie feel(particularly the “IT” people lol) and keeping you interested in what’s going on and why. Would’ve been a good movie to scare young kids and teens from having sex lol.

just finished this today, there's two more of these on peacock so gonna try and finish them tomorrow and probably gonna start the chucky franchise.

they live was just playing on AMC a few hours ago, that fight scene never gets old

love cabin in the woods too

sometimes i also catch some b/c grade horror/slasher films and kinda enjoy them, Hell Fest was playing and just wanted to check it out because the female lead was kinda cute and ended up watching the whole thing, not great and kind of typical slasher but sometimes thats all i need

These are the classics I try to watch during October in no order:

-American Werewolf in London
-Rosemary's Baby
-The Exorcist
-The Shining
-Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
-A Nightmare on Elm Street parts: 1, 3, 4 or 5
-Friday the 13th parts: 3, 4, 6 or 7
- Christine

Newer movies:
-Hereditary
-The Conjuring 1 or 2
-Paranormal Activity 1 and 2

Unfortunately they pull most of these from streaming in October (because the demand is higher and they want to force people to buy/rent it). I need to pull the trigger and just get all of these on hard media so I can watch it when I want.

Man, Judy Rose(Night of the Living Dead 1990) is one of the most aggravating characters ever lol. Bish stop screaming dang

day 4: (this movie was awesome, i just realized that's ole girl from beetlejuice )

Probably my oldest memory is going to see The Fly with my parents at like 4 years old. I have no clue how this memory remained with me forever. Probably because I was completely terrified lol. I remember the ride home and Force MDs “Love is a House” was playing. Song must’ve brought me some comfort or something lol.
