No you have to engage it with a switch/lever

I've been in eco mode about 96% of my driving, 3% sport, 1% normal. I've been wondering if that's a good idea considering I'll still drive "normal" while in eco.

Anyone ever have an issue with their reverse camera? Mine beeps (one long continuous beep) the entire time I'm in reverse and there's no obstruction. But the diagram is trying to tell me there's an obstruction on the rear driver side.
