Yea I don't pay attention to critics before I watch a show or movie

It's like food. We all don't have the same taste.

I get that and I agree. But this is like the highest rated Star Wars show in general. You may not like everything in the show, but chances are you’re enjoying most things they did. They’ve pretty much have been pretty true with their ratings.

It's cool, seems like the kids aventure shows and movies we all grew up on. If they don't treat their intended audience like they're stupid, this should be enjoyable for all.

Just finished the first two episodes. First one was slow and felt like filler. It started to pickup in the second. Liked the second more than the first. Actually felt like Star Wars. The first was some stereotypical growing up in the suburbs sitcom bs

Episode 3 was also good. Getting pirates of the Caribbean x Hook vibes

Also Peter Pan and ET vibes on the moon planet

And that pirate reminds me of Goldar from power rangers

The show is decent so far. I couldn't give 25 ****s what any critic or a rotten tomato score says. Seeing as how 74738484958575 trillion ppl ****ted on the acolyte without actually watching it (and at least 32 trillion more watched it to criticize it for clicks).

Lastest episode felt like filler. All this could've been avoided if they just hovered around the planet on the ship if they weren't sure if it was home

Agreed. Writers have made him so annoying. Wonder if they'll do the predictable thing and have him make a major mistake at the end of the season then have him save everyone and redeem himself.

Ok, I stayed out of this thread cuz I wanted to avoid spoilers, but finally all caught up!

Went in without reading any reviews and I'm enjoying it! It's ultimately a very kids show, but for what it is, I'm entertained and intrigued. I wanna know where this leads to and how/if it ties into the overall SW universe.

But yeah... Wim is annoying AF. Acting waaaay too immature given the situation that they're in. The rest of the characters are fine and interesting in their own way. Everyone loved Neel from the beginning cuz he looked cute... and I thought he was gonna be an annoying character, but he actually has a very honest and earnest personality., and is likeable.

And that joke about concubines. If it's supposed to be a kids show, doesn't Disney know kids have cell phones and can just google what a concubine is

It was a fun one. They really went full Goonies and Raiders with this episode.
And Jod showing us his true colors, much to no one's surprise!
Also, I've always wondered what would happen to a Lightsaber if you dropped it like that!

Bryce's episode felt a touch fillery to me, but that thing with the top layer of the Onyx was pretty cool.
And KB's a lot more droidy than I expected!

The pirates were too nice not putting jude law in the air lock the first episode.
