That Toronto game is in my top 5 moments ever witnessed in sports. My reactions as that **** was happening were priceless. Jumping on my couch screaming loud as hell

Man..talking bout the dwight season? That was ridiculous. Seriously crazy. I just remember thinking how unbelievable he was. I was supposed to meet up with one of my boys and I just text him like "kobe.." He hit me back like "I already know" :lol.

I've seen other players have great games but kobe is different. There’s something about him. His willpower, intensity..it's like watching dragon Ball z.

Byron is a fool...but he is an asset for us keeping this pick.

At this point, just keep him.
We got the Sixers coming up next we'll get to see what he's really made of. Is he just adopting the tank or is he born in it, molded by it.

:lol

Lakers' Byron Scott no longer goes on Instagram because of 'angry fans'

My bday is friday and I ruined my surprise last night... my wife saw me reading Kobe's announcement and then going to look at tickets right afterwards. :x

I wasnt even going to buy them I just wanted to see what they were going for currently and see how much they would shoot up to in a few days.

So she runs into the bedroom and bursts back in with an envelope with two tickets to the Lakers/Rockets on 12/13 :smokin :smokin

I am hoping my guy suits up... 2nd night of a back to back tho. Ive seen him ball a handful of times tho so Ill live but def be bummed.

Been my Fave player since 5th grade.. Im 22 now. I cant see the NBA / Lakers without Kobe.. Ima miss da GOAT.. He may not be the Greatest 2 some of u, but he is the greatest of my time and anything before that doesnt Register to my Knowledge..

Farewell 2 a Legend.[emoji]128531[/emoji] Its been Great.[emoji]128526[/emoji]

So now that he's made it official where does he real upon the pantheon of Laker greats?

I've got him tied with Magic at the top, both have meant so much to this great franchise...great champions, great entertainers, and two of the greatest talents the game has ever seen.

give him the edge over Magic just cause i got to see his whole career

from airballs in utah to airballs last night

new poll: who gets a statue first, Kobe or Cap?

I still remember Kareem crying about not having a statue back in 2010 or whenever it was. :lol

Kobe > Magic, just because I was never able to fully grasp what Magic was/is.

Too young.
Saw all of Kobe tho, man... I knew it was coming, just didn't think it'd hit me this hard.

I've never know basketball without Kobe.

Indiana Pacers forward Paul George:

"Kobe was my [Michael] Jordan. I didn't really have any moments of watching Jordan, but Kobe was my Jordan; watching him win championships. I remember just being at home watching the games with my mom, my grandma, my dad, [and] just idolizing him. After the game was over, I'd go in the front yard and try to imitate everything that I just saw. So he was, in my eyes -- not saying he's better than Jordan -- but, for me, growing up, that's who I idolized and look up to. That was the standard. He was the best player and it wasn't close."
