Garbage *** Byron making his rounds on all the ESPN shows today. Acting like it's up to him to get back into coaching, he will never get another head-coaching job in the NBA.

No, the opinion, "They will not be anything in 10 years" is as wrong as ""They will all be legends."Neither prospectives are wrong, some want guys who are proven and elite right now, and some are wlling to wait and see if we have that guy now, but I just hope they acknowledge that it's possible that none of these guys ever reach that level, that's all.
Just respect LTB's opinion on how he wants his team to improve, don't have to be condescending with your response. Nobody in here is more elite than anyone else, we all basically just shooting the ****.
"They COULD be nothing in 10 years" is correct."
"They will not be" is... wrong.
As in not right.
Funny thing about Byron is he would have been an okay lead assistant under Puke for his first year coaching.
Facts.Funny though you guys hate when people are condescending to ya'll but someone have an opinion that differs from yours and you quick to throw out the insults.
All good tho man.
This is friendly Lakers/Basketball debate. I aint taking it personally (i used to, i know, but i know its not personal now).
Yeah i see ya'll on Twitter throwing those subliminal insults about our in-thread discussion here.
All good. I see ya'll tho.
Take everything except D'lo or the lottery pick. Pacer's choice.
Well first to find out what you have and a better idea of who you're willing to trade and who you want to keep.
I love PG's game. But not enough to give up 3 or 4 really good assets for. There are only a few players that are worth that to me, and he's not one of them.
You're right for the most part. But PG is different in that he's a complete player. You don't need anyone on the court to compensate for any part of his game
Ok even if he is. Let's look at the last 4 times a star was traded for assets. D Will, Carmelo, Dwight and Chris Paul.
CP is the only successful trade, mainly because he forced his way out and had to go. And he's much better than PG, and Cousins for that matter.
It's just not a good way to build a team, unless a once in a lifetime deal comes around.
i want no one from canada on the lakers. dont do it mitch.
7 out of 9 of our posters so far dont want Derozan for 25 million/year.
Hmm........ Guess we're all delusional?
Los Angeles Lakers: New head coach Luke Walton is starting to construct his coaching staff, and the most prominent on his short list of candidates is Brian Shaw, league sources said.
Shaw was a longtime assistant under Phil Jackson, and most recently the head coach of the Denver Nuggets. Lakers executive vice president Jim Buss resisted Shaw as a head-coaching candidate before the hiring of Byron Scott, and many in the league doubt his enthusiasm over having another Jackson loyalist re-joining the coaching staff.
