I'm not trynna defend every move the Raiders make but what vets are they loading up with?

I get hating Carr is the thing to do, but literally the only players 30 or over on the ENTIRE roster are:

Donald Penn
Bruce Irvin
Marshawn Lynch
Jared Cook
Jordy Nelson

that's it. Only 1 of these players weren't on the team last year. Doug Martin is 29 and signed to a 1 year prove it deal so he doesn't even count as above 30.

What a stupid tweet.

Nobody thinks the raiders have a super bowl roster. All they are doing is signing short term contracts with no real money committed. This is a 100000x better than overpaying for washed players like they used to.

so your issue with the tweet is that they're not really loading up, per se. not the fact that Carr is the non-ginger version of Dalton? i'll agree

They only have 5 players on the roster above 30. It's just such a stupid tweet. Just say Carr is Dalton and keep it moving.

And I've said my piece about Carr multiple times. The Raiders haven't had a QB since Gannon left. Nobody is claiming he's a top 5 QB, but I'll take what Carr brings over hanging a revolving door at QB.
