I agree but I would have met with other teams. Depending on how much less and where. Ravens are trash and Flacco is garbage.
 
There had to be other teams coming close to that.

We saw worse WRs get more. A lot of contracts already done so maybe teams don’t have as much now. Raiders kinda ****** him.

Depending on the figures, the Bears almost have to match after placing the transition tag on Fuller. Had his best season in a Chicago uniform, and Pace can't possibly let him go to a bitter divisional rival in dire need of a true #1 CB. Plus the Bears receive no compensation if they opt to let Fuller walk to Green Bay.

As the Packers fans on NT have alluded to in previous posts, the organization is clearly breaking from the Ted Thompson mold, which was to build by drafting well. Brian Gutekunst has been extremely active and even aggressive in FA. Something we haven't been used to seeing from GB in recent years.

King has the physical makeup to be a lead corner, but the shoulder injury hampered him down the stretch. Randall was traded to the Browns, and Rollins had to battle through a bad Achilles. I thought Gutekunst might go the shrewd route and offer Breeland on the low, after he failed his physical in Carolina.

Wilkerson went the incentive-laden route, signing a deal that could escalate to $8M based off performance. On paper, the addition of Wilkerson to go with Daniels and Clark could mean Green Bay has one of the best DL in all of football. Although when with the Jets, many of us wondered about Wilkerson's selfish attitude and halfhearted effort.

Bit surprised the Packers let Jordy leave. His unique rapport with Rodgers is worth more than the 2/$15M the Raiders paid Nelson. Jimmy alleviates some of that lost chemistry. The Martellus Bennett experiment failed badly. Kendricks and Rodgers simply aren't TE1 if we're being frank.
 
You guys realize "Crabby" is turning 31 when the new season starts and has barely eclipsed the thousand-yard receiving mark just twice in his entire nine-year career.

HOPE it a poison pill contract, a la Jeremy Lin or Omer Asik.. so Bears get cap strapped just trying to match!!!

maybe if i made over $100M I might take less to win. Nahh, F that.

He's made about $50M, so figure he's made $30M. Living that lifestyle, he's not wealthy. Rich? Maybe. But we want to be wealthy. Lot of rich dudes out there.
