 Brent ain't having it. Commentator beef. What exactly is his problem with Romo? Romo's talking too much?

Essentially he's mad that Tony recognizes the defenses and calls out plays before they happen.
I'll take him giving fans the what and why vs Brent's infatuation for Katherine Webb.
Get these old guys all the way outta here.

Basically, he says that Romo should let viewers just watch the game and not predict calls and whatnot. Thing is that most viewers like Romo's style, so he just sounds like a salty old timer.

even though i havent heard him.. the refreshing thing, as i am understanding it, he's educating the viewed on the things he sees pre snap

so we feel more intertwined into the game.. even if dude is wrong, we understand what is going on through the heads of the dudes doing it

this was actually kinda talked about yesterday on lebatard's show regarding shannon sharpe.. when he was on the CBS pre game show, they tried to fit him into a box.. and now on FS1, dude is doing that damn thing and running with that thing being him and showing his personality

I think there is always some sense of conflict in commentating between the ex-players and nerds that went to school for broadcasting/journalism.

Here's a kinda hot take from me: Joe Buck has improved as a commentator for the past two years.

He's not as good as Gus Johnson, but Joe Buck unwashed himself when he stopped taking himself as seriously.

eh, he's just doesn't add any enthusiasm to the game. Not saying I want somebody like Gus calling all the games, but during big plays he barely even reacts.

I like Ian eagle, he's the best play by play guy right now. NFL needs more Kevin Harlan.

Jim Nantz is a great march madness announcer

You ready for primetime baby pa?

I think there is always some sense of conflict in commentating between the ex-players and nerds that went to school for broadcasting/journalism.

i think there is a way to balance it.. but you have to allow wings to spread where they can.. like take for example when bill simmons, jalen rose and zach lowe were together it was good and that probably should have been ESPN's nba show

to a degree i think they value too much ex players and coaches.. but then again, think they are overly rigid with the structure of these things which leads certain people to failing

I'm not gonna lie on this one. I'm using knowledgeable of the gifs I'm using, but I just searched Japanese wrestling gif this time

he suffered a subdural hematoma during his last match, he passed out after the match. hes ok now but probably will never wrestle again.

even Honma(dude in the yellow) broke his neck while getting ddt'. I know he recovered but not sure if he started wrestling again.

mans is crazy tho

Man suffered two ACL tears in college then went on to be one of the most durable backs ever in the NFL. That's unheard of.

exactly.. sounding like ross now.. but chubb has had his fair share of injuries, no clue why he didnt bounce when he could have
