finally got back from LA. got off work, bought tickets and drove down there with my girl. few notes from my trip down there
-a lot of dubs fans were in the house, especially the section near their bench. wanted to get tickets over there as well but went for the opposite section behind the clips bench so I'd get to see them the 2nd half.
-staples is an awesome arena, got lost trying to get to our seats due to how huge that place was. I hope our new arena blows that out of the water.
-not a lot of clips pics in the hallways going to the vip/suite seats, found 1 blake pic on the walls on the side we were walking on
-it's most definitely a social event to go to clips games, heard a few people saying they were actually lakers fans but wanted to go to a game 7. nothing against the actual clips fans but
-clips production team was trying to do the decibel reading, maxed out at 113 something in the first quarter and they were trying to top it all game and never did again even during the 4th where they tried like 2-3 times
-one of the mc chick for the clips was biting off our slogan this year saying something like "show us you're loud, show us you're proud clippers fans" :x
-Warriors fans definitely made themselves heard, could still hear them when clips fans tried to drown us out.
-fans were pretty much dead for most of the game until the end, of course, idk if it's cause it's a big arena or they weren't just into it
-had a nice clippers fans that were an older couple try to consolidate our loss, while the workers at the food stand when they were going home was mocking us
. we stayed at the end for a bit and were the only dubs fans in the area and started chanting "clippers" towards us.
tl;dr had fun at staples despite the loss. first game of the season too, just so happens to be the last game of the season for the dubs
btw tried this on ye old trade machine, too lazy to screen shot and crop and put it up.
