This is what I hate with consumers in general. Instead of doing research and be sure of what you're buying, they get the product then lambaste the company over their own lack of understanding.

Yeah man my family sent some to Colombia and they get a U.S phone number so it's like making a local call.

For the T-mobile users out there: UMA. A lot of people don't know about this feature, or don't know the possibilities of it. It's in their blackberries and slowly trickling over to their android phones too. Pretty much, no matter where you are in the world, if you connect to a wifi network all calls and text are treated as local. It's pretty handy going to school internationally.

i had it on my tmobile bb curve bout 2 years ago and it was the %#%#

saved me TONS of minutes and texts
