Yeah, the whole twitch.tv thing is weird these days. I’ve had my same account on there since the site used to be called ********* (10+ year old account probably) and still go on twitch every once in a while to see actual video games being played by whoever, I don’t pick rooms based on the streamers’ looks or whatever, just on the games they play. Anyways, I’ve never spent a penny of real life money making “donations” to any streamers, but some of the viewers be wylin on there for absolutely no reason donating to their favorite streamers. Donating for unique emojis, unique name badges, etc. They be having posted “leader boards” on their bio pages to show who donated the most all time or whatever. Guess some viewers like the idea of being “immortalized” or whatever.

Some of their top top streams, I’m sure they make a lot of money. Some be streaming 18+ hours a day, including when they sleep and some viewers will donate while the streamer is sleeping. That’s cool, get that money.

One time, I went up in a room and only said “hello”, the streamer was like“you’re not even a subscriber ($$$) or even following me.” OK
I don’t follow a single streamer on my twitch account, as I said, I just go on there to see video games from whoever might be online.
