Dude selling the bootleg movies on the street was selling footage of the event ( the chitari attack on NYC ). But I don't think the hulk fight was mentioned. Hell, they even fought directly in front of the Apollo theater.

Because according to Bruce Banner in The Avengers, he " broke Harlem ". Seems like a pretty significant event not to reference. And the battle of NY didn't take place in Harlem ( or hell's kitchen for that matter)

As far as Hulk breaking Harlem it was like 9 years ago now.
When you give it more thought it is silly/crazy that the battle of NY did not cover the entire island of Manhattan.
It was sort of in midtown but to the east? I don't know where Stark tower is suppose to be exactly.

Hells kitchen isn't a city. Its an area within the city. A mini town within the city like the LES, Little Italy and Chinatown. Nobody calls it the city of Hell's Kitchen.
When they keep saying my city they're talking about NYC but specifically the 10 blocks they live.
I say that cuz MCU NYC is just like the real world NYC and of course Hell's Kitchen doesn't even exist anymore in NYC and his been renamed.
