Netflix been on fire lately....production been solid on most of their shows...if JJ is a hit, Netflix might just be surpassing HBO

Completely agree. Besides Game Of Thrones HBO doesn't really have any big properties.
So far I am liking these casting decisions for DD , JJ , and LK

Netflix also has a number of random original foreign shows. They have a lot more original stuff then I realized. Still haven't checked out bloodlines or sense8.

Netflix is definitely winning. They really gonna flourish if they introduce ads. I also heard they're premiering a film that also has a theatrical release, and some studios are boycotting it.

It's a way to introduce a more obscure character I think and it will all lead to a Defenders film.
They know she isn't that popular though and probably why they are throwing Luke Cage in there right off the bat unlike Daredevil who is popular enough to just carry his own show by himself.

Nothing other than she's a female street level superhero with not a whole lot continuity attached which is doable for tv that was made by one of Marvel's more (probably most) popular writers who happens to also had been on their creative committee.
Bendis has attached her to Luke Cage right when he gave him a major push so there's a bit more appeal to her as well.
Character wise, she did the superhero thing wasn't good at it, tried to get her life together and became a private investigator. Her solo books has a detective noir feel to it overall. Her max book is more explicit.
As for being obscure and unknown I feel if you're more of a netflix watcher than Marvel fan you'll give this show the chance simply cuz netflix gave it the okay. While every original show they have isn't a major hit I'm not aware of many duds they have if any.
Oh okay. I aint notice. The first thing I see is Daredevil so that's what I just thought this thread mostly was and ppl were just using here to post other netflix Marvel stuff
