There's a reason the show's called Daredevil though, and not the Matthew Murdock cases. It'd be very silly to wait 26 episodes for the costume that the characters known for, considering there's no guarantee for a second season.

Who said anything about court cases b??? I know what the name of the show is. it would have been cool to see a slower more dragged out origin story leading up him dawning the red suit in the last scene of season 1 or first episode of season 2.

What the **** kinda bizarro world **** is this?

This is probably already the best comic book TV show. I'm 6 eps in, Rosario is beautiful man.

I was tired while watching, but I understood the majority of episode 4, but what was inportant about the Russians' brothers in that episode. Did Matt lay him out in a previous ep or something?

The Russians brother embarrassed Fisk in front of the girl he was on a date with. Also there has been tensions between Fisk and the Russians prior to that. Fisk took him out. As part of his larger plan.

You know, you would think people would have more sense than to interrupt the Kingpin on a date.

Couldn't help myself and binged the whole season already :smokin :{ :smokin

Didn't really have many expectations going into the show other than the positive buzz it received. I enjoyed it a lot. It's definitely for mature audiences :lol way more graphic than I thought a Marvel property would ever be on screen. Dope fight scenes. If you're on the fence give it a watch

yea that's what surprised me, Its for mature audiences for sure, :lol no icer guns here.

:lol He doesn't even look like Bill Duke aside from a bald head.

My bad then :rollin. Been a while since I watched the movie. Should've Google it.

Yah. I honestly thought I missed something. I was thinking "WTF is going on here? Did I miss something important? Nah he's just a dumb***"

The first thing you should know about crime is that sort of attention is a no no

I got part where Fisk felt embarrased. I mean like from the beginning or whatever where they kept talking about their brother. Who was he or was he not important?

Beyond being their brother I am not sure what his importance was.

The Murdock x Stick fight at the end of episode 7 >>>>>>>>>>>>

Stick might be one of the most perfectly cast roles in comic books.

The one thing that got me about Fisk's first date was Vanessa was that when he got interrupted I notice the whole restaurant was full of his bodyguards. Didn't even notice all them and he demolished that Russian kid. And Vanessa is ride or die. I'm only on episode 7 but man :hat

I'm half way through episode 2 but work is killing me man. I can't wait to get off and at least get to episode 4. I'm off Mon and Tues so I'll be able to finish the season then but man this show has put out a hell of a vibe for the MCU. I love the casting, the acting everything.

I didn't know I had these type of feelings for Rosario Dawson. I was always more a Zoe Saldana type :o

3 episodes in and I'm very impressed. Initial impressions (non-spoiler)

- Love the fact that even though there is a mature rating, it's mostly for tone and content. I hate it when shows get an M rating and go overboard with language and gratuitous violence and sexuality
- Acting is solid to very good
- Fight sequences are well choreographed and shot
- Story is solid and the other sub plots seem to be coming together organically
- The fact that DD is still in his black ninja costume and I could care less is a pleasant surprise
- Flashbacks to Matt's youth are beginning to dwindle, which is good, but that's not to say that they were done poorly. Glad they did a good job on it, and moved on..

So far so good, but I'm in a quandary. I can't wait to see the next episode, yet I'm very aware that it gets me that much closer to completing the season.

When does he get his red suit? Finished ep 8 and he still ain't have it yet. I'm glad tho. In the world they are building someone can't patrol the night in a bright red suit imo. They should've made the final suit black.

Episide 12, he gets it made and he wears it in episode 13.

The last day has been a blur because I was up for over 24 hours before I finally got some sleep. Now that I've had some time to digest the show, it was like "A History of Violence" meets "Law & Order" with some "True Detective" sprinkled on top.

Great show! Gonna rewatch with my gf, over the next week.

Show is flames :hat

Season ended so dope. Marvel killing the game man. Might be my fav marvel material yet

Was never a DD fan but after this show, I dont know if jessica jones will be able to top this.

Marvel on Netflix was a genius move

JJ going to bring a different flavor, but I'm hopeful the quality will be just as good as this show.

Man... all these dope reviews of DD has got me fighting the urge to just start watching it now. But I gotta wait until at least Wednesday before unleashing the binge watching that is likely to go down. Thanks for all the reviews fellas.

maybe I ain't where you are at but you have pretty low definitions of ride or die. They've only talked the entire time she has been on screen (so far). That doesn't make you close to ride or die. When does she prove her worth?

Finally finished and damn that was great!

Can't wait for the follow-ups and eventual Defenders show.

They definitely tried to push things as much as they can which is great to see in a Marvel product.

We need a season 2 greenlit like yesterday!

Can't wait for the Hand!

Ep 10 and so far she still hasn't done anything ride or die. Looking the other way when someone does something wrong is nowhere near ride or die.

As for the restaurant incident, dude deserved what came to him for bringing that type of attention to Fisk. Doesn't matter if Fisk was on a date with Vanessa, by himself, or with his mom.
