Mike Vick Sentenced to 23 Months in Prison

$121 in salary and endorsements, all cuz he wanted to keep it real with his boys....smh

I know i shouldnt've did that
I know its gon' come right back
I know its gon' destroy everything i made
Its probably gon' get ya boy sent away

Now you're tumbling, its humbling, you're falling, you're mumbling
Under your breath like you knew this day was coming
SMH.

Dogs > "Thugs" in America to some people.
hmmm exactly how i feel ... if you commit a crime and you do it knowingly and repeatedly then lie about it and act you are untouchable then yes iwould rather a dog walking the street than your dumb idiotic%@$# ... its the law, regardless of what you think ... I see too many people getting mad at thejudge and the system when in actuality you should educate yourself on how to make reforms to existing laws in order to prevent what you feel is injustice ...yes it was over some dogs because fighting dogs and funding these types of organizations is illegal ... end of story

CCA Jay-Z "Fallin" is the official song of Mike Vicks demise.

LOL @ quoting the lyrics.

So many quotables in that song...

My favorite: "N's never learn til they end up in the news clip"

For those of you defending Vick and saying his sentence should have been lighter...you seriously need to grow up. He did not get 23 months for "dogs"he got 23 months because he broke the law and was funding illegal activity. Thats the bottom line and you cant argue that.

Vick eventually admitted to killing two dogs, "one by drowning, one by hanging."
What a scum bag.
I was hoping for 3 years. Whatever, I got my birthday present today with the 23months.

Laws more or less doesn't equate to morality.

Some people get those two things twisted. Just because it's the law doesn't necessarily mean it's right.

I believe what he did was wrong but come on 2 years in jail for some dogs? On top of that your chances for rehibilitating yourself in society is shot becauseof the media's extremely extensive negative coverage.

It's not like he was killing lassie or old yeller these were some deadly pit-bulls.

23 months isn't harsh enough. Judge had the chance to send a message that animal cruelty is intolerable, and he blew it.

He made them deadly.

It is not like he's the animal control and is putting down violent dogs.

He is torturing these dogs to make them violate and make them killers, and killing them for entertainment.

Like we haven't all heard that one before. How about people who kill prostitutes because they don't believe prostitution is moral? You okay withthat?

There's a reason why we have to draw a line of law in society.

his wish is to see a man put in jail for pretty disturbing animal cruelty. did he do it? yes. did he try to cover it up? yes. is it against he law? yes.

i don't know if he deserved 23 months, but he should of thought of that before getting involved in dog fighting.

There are some blind people on this board.............................
The fact that Vick funded an ILLEGAL operation knowing it was illegal doesn't matter, Right?
When the feds got to him, Vick thought he could still get away with it with a slap on the wrist and nothing more.
Dude failed a drug test when he knew the Feds would try and find everything on him.
Some of you guys don't even realize that he got off easy. The 2 guys that dry snitched on him and told the Feds everything,
got less than him. He BROKE the damn law, if Dogfighting isn't such a big deal, why is it illegal?

But I digress

Wow. thats alot of days to think about his life. Hope someone doesn't murk him, cus I'm sure alot of people banked on his career.

I wasn't even taking about pimps and+@++%. That has nothing to do with this topic.

I'm still completely torn the issue.

Either way, I think we all can agree that the NFL is considerably less exciting without him.

You brought up laws equating to morality. If you paid closer attention, you would have seen that I was arguing that morality has nothing to do with thelaw. Guys who kill prostitutes because they are immoral in their eyes, feel they are perfectly justified through morality.
