Man I got excited seeing this thread on the first page thinking there was some actual news. Honestly, with how crazy things are right now trying to cop sneakers, I hope these don't come out this year. And this is coming from someone who has been checking pretty much weekly for updates on this release for the better part of the last few years

Agreed. After how the Carmines went + the Fire Red 4 quality control debacle, I’d prefer them to drop in 2022.
Get the quality right and produce enough for people to be able to grab on release day. Basically just do the Fire Red 5 drop.

Mad late on this reply, the 06 was a piece of **** in terms of quality. Grabbed a pair for like $80 and it came with this hard stiff leather that was pre-creased. I wore the hell out of them though. I was like well, they’re already flawed.

Me too man I absolutely Love this shoe. Especially knowing there are tabs you can swap these days I have been thinking about buying a pair.

Can't put my finger on it, but something about those looks VERY off.

The back tab is done in the style of the 2001 black-cement 3s. The way the letters look and the way the paint is set.
But I see the rear ankle collar that is the same as the 2020 Fire Red 4s.

The tongue looks updated too where the lining doesn't go over the top of the leather if that makes sense.
