Does anyone know what Adam Jones wears on his arms for game day? Always been interested in his wrist bands but never been able to figure out what he had going on.
His orange one he wears on his left elbow is the custom Nike wristband, made of the thin, stretchy Dri-FIT and his black one that he wears on his left wrist is the Nike Pro Compression wristband, circa 2006.

SinnerP got it locked down! The orange one is always pushed up so you can rarely see the Swoosh but its there above his number.

If anyone has 2 Pairs of black nike or tpx or any batting gloves in a size L I have 2 pairs of black and white diamond elite pros for trade size XL. One is brand new and the other is almost new having only been used in 2 at bats.

doogie,  gotta say you do a great job with those unis/stirrups.  looks sweet and really professional.

And it looks like he just cut it himself?

Yeah, its always ragged like that. It has to be from like a longer compression sleeve I am thinking.

its actually probably a normal nike numbered sweatband that he flipped inside out and cut the seam on the inside. if you have one lying around turn it inside out and youll see the horizontal seam.

a lot of football players do it.

Anyone know where to get a 3/4 undershirt like the one Tulo is wearing in this pic? Any Nike or UA 3/4 sleeve I get ends up being tight around my arms no matter what size. Does anyone know a brand that has a baggier fit like the one in the pic?

pretty sure its this Evoshield shirt.

i had one a couple years ago and it was a baggy 3/4

New color way of the Huarache Filth and the Vapor Elite Pro 3.0 batting gloves  now up on NDC

My man David Price with 2 great starts as a Blue Jay :hat

Another quick question, how do spikes add more wear and tear to your body?
Maybe wear and tear, wasn't the right term to use. Ive heard players deal with discomfort issues in their feet and legs from prolonged use of the metal spikes.

Thanks for the clarification

This 100% prolonged wear of spikes is a killer to your feet! By killer i mean youre to the point you dont even want to put them on youd rather play in turfs

BUT usually this is like a pair thats been worn for many games to where the spikes are like nubs, your padding for insoles is shot and you can feel the spikes protuding thru your insoles on the soles of your feet.

Given that a lot of these guys have some kind of contract and if not they make enough money to keep a cleat rotation this shouldnt even be an issue. Some players say even brand new spikes are uncomfortable or they can feel the spikes pushin against their feet.

Personally i wear both and keep a decent rotation between 5 different pairs of cleats (spikes and MCS) so its not a problem for me but I know that feeling the spikes can have on your feet.

And at the end of the day its all preferrence mostly. Youd be surprised at the grip you get from MCS in grass and dirt. I dont even notice a difference
