Part of the point though, can't just go rushing to collect pins. Trap the other team with their own teammates pins occasionally, especially when they're out in the open.

The point wasnt to stop the camping from happening but to prevent camping teams from winning. If people wanna camp during the season I guarantee they wont win any matches. TDM allows teams to camp and still win. KC doesnt simple as that.

There's definitely camping in Kill Confirmed. I got a different vibe yesterday when we ran some games...it seems like it's gotten worse over the past few weeks.

I'm fine with Lockdown but yeah I completely agree that Outpost should be removed. There is a lot of camping on Fallen also.

Lockdown is one of my fav. maps...but I know these NT %#*%$+ will be perched up all day in buildings.
I didn't think about Fallen but that might be another one too.

Last night all of you guys except for Me, Just and Soulful wanted Kill Confirmed as the default first game mode because TDM promotes camping. Teams will STILL camp, KC doesn't prevent or stop it less compare to TDM. In TDM you just kill and that's it, but in KC you have to kill AND collect a tag, there is MORE camping in this game mode, period. Every game mode has camping, unfortunately it's part of the game. I can't wait to hear you guys **%%+ and complain about dudes camping for dog tags or how the other team won because they camped for that last tag.

Still missing the point though. KC doesn't prevent camping but it prevents a camping team from winning. How exactly do you camp for dog tags? If someone camps in a building shooting people out the window they would be helping their team in TDM but hurting their team in KC cause they're not capturing tags. If people want to camp this season they are more than welcome to, but I guarantee they wont be winning any objective matches.
Edit: Also you cant compare pub matches to season games. People in pubs care more about their K/D ratio than W/L so of course it sucks. During the Season everyone will probably be going for the W. The matches will be more exciting cause people will be running after dog tags, which is better than teams playing TDM til the clock runs out.

There's still camping in KC but more often than not the team who is better at short range to medium range combat is going to win. IMO it's best to have half the team posted up "camping" and the other half flanking and collecting tags. The ones who are stronger in closer range combat should obviously be doing this. You don't have to get every tag but if you're killing and not dying (not giving up tags) and picking up 70 percent of your tags you'll win.
More often than not the mistake is that someone wants to collect every tag he sees...he's on the top of the scoreboard cuz he got all the tags but he dies like 20 times, 25 times in the process giving the other team air support and making it hard for the rest of us to collect tags.
The other extreme is when the team, sometimes my team, wants to camp .... everyone has positive ratios but loses the game.
Gotta be a middle.

There's also gotta be a little logic in this too. If a tag is left out in the open untouched for longer than 20 seconds or something like that you just knoow someone is camping for it. If it's just one tag I'm not going to go for it but if it's like 4 tags lying around I just might if I think I can take it all before I die.
