You can file a complaint to the city. You may get a reimbursement for the repair you did to the tire in a year or so.

All I wanted to know was if anyone knew who I could contact so I can complain about the conditions of the streets. I'm not posting pictures of my girl so you people can sit back and judge her because she isn't on world star and you can't help her get famous by watching her videos so she can be in magazines and become famous for no reason. I'm a real person with real problems and her step father had the tools to fix the flat we just had the spare. Thank you to everyone who helped including the sidebar.

you musta been in the hood because we're the only n_s in this city who can't get repaired roads. the south and the west have the absolute worst roads in the state and they NEVER plow them either. it's straight flood waters over here whenever it rains and it's complete torture to drive. i don't know what to do to help because quite frankly, the city isn't gonna do @$+$ about it, man.. i'm sorry to hear that, though.

pshhh.. word of advice is avoid prairie, bridgham and any side streets on the south or west end during snow or rain. the city is letting @+#!$% kill each other every other day over nonsense so i doubt they're worried about the roads. just be cautious, man. i get on my driving ms. daisy +!++ during bad weather.. nothing more than 10 mph.

With Rhode Island being a state with one of the highest unemployment rates, some more city jobs for repairing streets would be appreciated. And as for McFlyyy...A lot of towns in the state have terrible roads. Prov, EP, Pawtucket, Cranston, etc. Cranstons city budget was so low last year I remember main roads not being plowed...and EP just fired a good amount of city workers as well...a couple of days before our last snow storm.

sidebar.. why do EP cops harass dudes on the regular, though? it's expected when you're a minority but they're the type of dudes to call 5 squad cars backup for an illegal u-turn. this one cop used to wait a block away from my mother's job every day to stop her and ask her about her temp plates. it's disgusting over there..

We were on Prairie, and I was talking to the camera man for Eyewitness News one day and asked him (jokingly) if he was doing a report on the terrible street conditions. Sadly he was doing a report on some dude killing his wife, he said that he wishes it was about the streets because all of these people dying is sad.

EP cops are beyond the worst in the state. Its been a reoccuring problem within the city. They have way more than necessary and do very little. I got into a fight with the guy plowing my street and 5 minutes later a cop rolls up threatening to arrest me as I am shoveling my driveway. He didn't take too kindly to me asking him "Don't you have a parking lot you need to be posted up in somewhere?"

I was walking down Chalkstone a few months back and saw these dudes fighting and the cops drove right by it. I figure if I start writing letters or sending emails I can at least gain some awareness and get the ball rolling.
