im thinking of paying for a dinner for my mom and dad

anyone familiar with boston theyre gonna be there for the weekend so i was thinking l'espalier. but if anyone else has another suggestion that'd be sick. i have heard good things about o ya. but my i don't know if my mom is all that big on sushi/sashimi and i've never been so i'm avoiding that. i was also considering park no 9.

only thing is i wont be able to go (im that weekend and will be in san diego) so its not really all that personal of a gift.....besides a hand written note what else is a good gift idea?
