Yo! What'sgood my SoCal People.. So I'm Moving to the Area, Burbank to be be exact... I visited a Few Months ago and Loved the Whole Cali Vibe... So Now now That I'm going to be living there, Any Advice? Whats the Sneaker Scene like, Places to go, things to do, etc..

Sneaker scene is ridiculous, go to typical tourist spots to get situated. Nightlife is fun.

So What are the Good Spots in the Burbank Area.. As When I went there the first time I hit up Fairfax. Whats the Good night life spots?

Man, I'm tired of being here. I fell in love with FL when I lived out there for a couple of years.

Wanna work something out, like a new episode of Trading Spouses or something?

congrats on the move. here are a few good food spots in the next city over from you in Glendale, CA
Portos (Cuban food)
- most famous for cheese roll (danishes) and potato balls. all their cuban sandwiches are good.

Cafe Bravo (Mediterranean food)
- most famous for lamb kabob plate. their chicken and beef kabob plates are really good as well.

Thanks Man! Will Have to check those spots out! I'm always down for good food.

I'm from south Florida (Lauderdale) and am stationed here in SoCal. I honestly like it better here. 8)

Yup Remixx02, That's how I felt when I came out to Visit in November.. I likde so much better then Here in Florida

Both of y'all?

I think it might just be a case of where we're previously living at and for how long.

A change of scenery after years of living somewhere would probably drain us, regardless of where it's at.

True But I've all over the place, South Florida, NY , New England, Canada... And Cali to be honest we the best, Next to NY r Canada(HATE THE COLD).. Can't wait until Monday...Then going to Vegas for a few days... So any good sneaker spot in Burbank or DO I have to go into the city for that ?

There's ok spots in the mall, but the limited stuff will take you into Hollywood/Fairfax area.

I'm in North Hollywood, if that matters. Been here 4 years(from Atlanta) and still getting used to it.

Oh and if you're looking for good food trucks, come out to Tiki No on Lankershim Thursday nights. There's 4-5 different trucks every week you can check out. I recommend the Angry Chicken Wings from Asian Cravings.

Sneaker scene in the 818 area is nuts lol too many hypebeasts out here. IN & OUT burger all day everyday haha but the food scene and nightlife is pretty good here too. Traffic is hell haha Burbank is a nice area tho. Theres a Nordstrom rack off the 5 fwy I've found some gems there like LeBron 7s CDP Jordan's and some Kobe's. If you drive out a little more west to Glendale, Glendale galleria and their outdoor mall have more to offer than that old burbank media center mall.

But like the other guy mentioned portos is a must. Umami burger in studio city is also good.

Don't listen to NCTwin, he hasn't picked up anything in years. He's on that Free Run / Roshe Run hype.

In Burbank for SBs, there's Active Ride Shop on San Fernando. Anything else, you'll have to do a bit of driving

Glendale Galleria [Foot Locker, Shiekh Shoes, (sometimes) Foot Action, (sometimes) Champs Sports] is a decent destination to go to, but you'll have to deal with overnight lines most of the time.

If you go east a little further, there's Neo39 in Pasadena (>D). Results may vary.

If you go a little south of Glendale to Silverlake, there's 1 UNDFTD location of the 3 here in SoCal.

From Burbank, within a 30-min. driving radius, your options are very wide. Tip of the iceberg, my dude.

He's right. Only shoe shopping I've done lately was on the net(except for my Roshes). The new Shiekh in Glendale is really good. They have some good stock too.
Listen to him about the spots. This is his town(until he starts repping Florida again).

Wow Guys Thanks! All of this has been Very Very Helpful. Love Food Trucks! I eat all the time.. But have a High Metabolism so I can live the Fat Boy Life and get away with it hahaha. Will Check out the Sneakerspots, The Only thing I did the last time I was there was go to the Rollerderby which was cool, and eat alot of Korean BBQ in K-Town, And I'm not Korean.

Actually Are there any Haitian Restaurants out there?

I hate the traffic on the L.A. Freeways but loved the weather out there.I can't stand this Florida heat.

Traffic does get bad a lot on the freeways here, but I've always felt like the amount of freeways and streets here makes commutes so much easier than FL. Back in FL, it normally took me 15 - 20 minutes just to get TO a freeway. >D

And don't even get me started about the stoplights out there in FL.

Well at least the stoplights there have a dedicated turn light!!! At the busiest intersections here, you could wait 3-4 lights before you finally get to go!

Move to Glendale if it bothers you that much, son.

Sup wit' that Gyu-Kaku, though? We're overdue.

Haha Thanks Guys! Yup Florida Lights are mad long!!! My House in Florida to get to the Highway takes 15-20 due to Traffic...

Downtown Burbank is great. Corner Bakery, In & Out, Barnes & Noble, CPK, IKEA, Hooters, El Pollo Loco, Burbank Mall, Coffee Bean, Urban Outfitters, Active, Yogurtland, Starbucks, AMC Movie Theater, Pinkberry, Chipotle, Olive Garden, Orochon Ramen, and Boba Loca is all within half a mile strip.

Burbank is also 15 min local from Universal Studios and North Hollywood. Home of Warner Brothers, CBS, NBC Universal, Nickelodeon, and Disney, there are rumors that some celebrities live in Burbank Hills. I personally saw William Fichtner and a white porn star working out at the local YMCA. I also saw Nautica Thorn drinking coffee at Coffee Bean lol.

Watch out for "gangster" Armenians though. Glendale, the neighboring city, is known as Little Armenia. Shady, aggressive people. They're slowly migrating to Burbank.
