Where are other good areas to move?
How do you want to live? Just barely getting by or decent? A 6 figure income doesn't even go far here in SoCal. The house in my areaaverages out to be $400-500k, that's a 2-3 bedroom 1,300-1,500 sq ft house. I live in a middle to upper middle class neighborhood, nothing even close toNewport or Bev Hills.Originally Posted by drekin06

Your price range is kinda low so you may have to settle for htat. When I looked around at an apartment 2 yrs ago, I found a nice 1 bedroom apartment in Northridge near my campus for $1,100 a month and that was a STEAL for what it was.

I bounced back....sold some of my Louis Vuitton collection, got my car fixed, still no job but I got enough $$ to last me until the end of June.
While other unemployed ppl are sitting around stressing, I decided to enjoy life before I get back in the rat race of being a slave @ work again. All I need is gas money and a mcdonalds and i'm good. I know ppl in every major city, so i'm visiting friends and chillin.

everything you said is fine but you cant risk your life like that. you still needa eat good.
Echo Park is not that nice, to put it nicely again. Glendale, and Los Felix part of L.A. would be a better choice, just a bit north of Echo Park, but rent would be higher there. We lived in a nice apartment with 2 bedrooms in Los Felix back in the mid 90's and I still remember the rent was $1,000. I'm sure it went up by 100% since then.Originally Posted by TH0MAS CR0WN
