I started watching season 1 again. The last ep I saw was the one where Darlene slept with the Wall Street guy, and went in his safe and took his gun, which she later hid in the popcorn machine. The bullet the FBI found at the arcade, cant they trace it back to the Wall Street dude? If so, he can tell them it was Darlene, or give a description of her right?
Tyrell can't be dead b/c he called Elliott on the phone two episodes ago. Who else would be sending Joanna those items in the mail? Definitely couldn't be Elliott, unless he is doing it at the request of Tyrell.
Did Elliott lie about not being to able to get past the encryption so he can ask old IT guy what the deal was? How did they find out, or suspect anything? I doubt Elliott left a trail for them to find. Did they just make an assumption, and the old IT guy caved in after being brutalized?
Lastly, what the hell did they cut off of him? The called him a rat, but was that a piece of his scalp with the hair attached?

A few episodes back people were speculating if mr robot asked ray to set up the hit on elliot's former boss. You saw an ad on the website for a hitman. elliot doesn't have the money to pay for that though.

Maybe the payment was supposed to be a favor? Ray and Mr. Robot obviously agreed for him to do something for him, which Eliott obviously wasn't aware of.

Really cool with the range they gave Craig Robinson's character of Ray. Made you think he was legit just a good dude trying to help Elliott in the beginning and he turned into a dark web kingpin lol

I don't think that was really Tyrell on the phone with Elliot, that call took place during a hallucination.
& I believe it's Elliot sending those things to Joanna when he's Mr.Robot. Either that was Tyrell's dying wish or he's just just trying to string her along because of the threat that she gave him when they met each other.
& yea, they probably beat the old IT guy to death and he told him.

While I don't think that's what happened getting money should be easy for Mr. Robot.
Its been Elliot that went cold turkey on computers not Mr. Robot. Unless we discover he can't do that hacking **** without elliot and that's why he's been urging him to get back on the game.

I know in the pilot episode, Elliott said he doesn't give a **** about money. But how difficult would it be for him and any of the other Fsociety crew to hack a bank and have money wired/transferred to their account and not be traced?

I get the feeling he's going to be connected to rays online business. Elliots gotta get revenge for shayla...this opens the door for that.
I miss shayla writers killed her way too soon.
If mr. Robot is elliot could elliot actually be tyrell? Hence all the awkwardness with joanna.
After season 1 I wondered how they could keep this show going, but right now they could go so many directions.

I really feel like all isn't as it seems. The teaser for the next episode aligns with a lot of conjecture on what is happening this season.

I feel that way too. It's an off the wall theory, but I kind of think when elliot got shot in the dopehouse that really happened and he's unconscious. Esmail has definitely created a gem, perfect for theories and internet age discussions. This show could literally go any direction, he cought some controversy from season 1 because of the fight club similarities, but I think he did that just to nake you think you can predict what's going to happen.

Esmail has repeatedly said he's not playing with reality like that anymore. The majority of what you see as the narrative is happening.
He's not gonna peel back eps of progress and reveal had been in a coma all along. Its also why he's not actually on some psych ward.
