oh yea i had sonic for the first time in VA

i got hit with soggy burgers and cold fries...we had four iced teas which were Blackberry,2 Peach and a Raspberry.All of Them tasted like ChilledCough Medicine

in all honesty i wouldnt even bother visiting ANY UC schools. they take less that 1% out of state students if that.

^^I've been to Stony many many times and I got sick of that school. The social life isn't compared to the other schools on on my list.

SUNY Downstate is something that I've thought about, but in all honesty I feel like I need to branch out.

Buffalo is just too damn cold

With all that being said, Columbia, Mount Sinai and NYU are also on my list.

Yeah, BTW for all the smokers. When we stopped by VA we saw cigarettes being sold for $2. My friend went into a 7-eleven and bought cartons ofcigarettes.

Fam, you brought back sooooooooooooooooooo many memories for me after seeing your pics. I'm an '05 Duke alum and haven't been back since June of2005 and kinda forgot how magical (no %!%#) the campus was.

Living in NYC I haven't ever heard of Bojangles, and take it from me. This is the BEST place for fried chicken.
I can attest to that. I'm a Tri-State boi (born and rasied in CT, lived in NYC after college and now in Boston) and I tell all my people uphere how good Bojangles is and words just can't truly define the taste of their chicken. Straight up takes a dump on Popeyes and KFC.

Good luck with med school and I hope you do indeed get into Duke's school and ultimately choose them. The southern experience is an experience in itselfand especially with you being from NYC it'll be a breath of fresh air to live down in that area for a while.

It's so weird to hear how everything you're seeing is so like... uh, new to you. Like you're fascinated by places like bojangles and chik-fil-a

I guess it wouldn't be so weird if you weren't from NYC, which I feel like has everything in the world, and exposure to all sorts of things that peopleliving out in the middle of nowhere like me wouldn't understand.

yeah not open on sunday would be crazy.it's somethin in the water here...The attitudes here are different.i remember when i worked at the first pinkberryin NY...People was bangin on the glasses at 10:58 screaming at us talkin bout IT'S NOT ELEVEN O'cLOCK YET!!!!!!!.I just think it would be another dirtyrestaurant.Where can you put a chic-fil-a in tha city?

that's like saying taco bell is the best Mexican food I ever had
