Nas in Concert... EDIT: Pics (Pg 1)

The man Nas is coming to Minneapolis in a week and a half. Ticket is $36...also performing is DamianMarley...

My question...does Nas put on a good show...worth the $36?

What you think he'll play? Stuff from Untitled?

when i saw Nas in 07 he put on an amazing show. he did EVERYTHING! im talking bout joints you wouldn't even expect.

i'd say it's well worth it, especially if you're a Nas fan.

it's weird, cuz he's playing at this venue that is usually used for alternative/indie type music...and with damian marley there...should be aninteresting crowd

I saw him in CT a few months back. It was hype. He was up there for about 2 hours, going crazy.

It is definitely worth it...he'll do joints from back in the mid 90s all the way up til now.

Saw him perform at Syracuse. Let's just say he stole the show that weekend from the main concert that was to be held at the Carrier Dome. He performed forabout 1 hr. 20 minutes. I saw him before Untitled came out but now that it has been out for almost a year you'll definitely hear stuff from that. Heperformed tracks from the beginning of his career til now as well as tracks that he was a feature on.

Saw him last November. Phenomenal show. He started off with his most recent stuff from Untitled, then went back and did just about all of Illmatic. And justcontinued with the majority of his hits in chronological order from there.

Great show, and which one of you %%!%$*$ has something on autoplay in this #!###.

IMO he's the definition of an MC and performing to a live crowd, the chemistry between himself and DJ L.E.S. is flawless and shows no need for a hypeman.

Nas performances are ill.. he always appeals to the casual Nas fans and also the true $+#%#+ who actually know his music. i saw him last year and he startedout just doing Untitled stuff, Made You Look w/e.. then out of nowhere he pulled out the classic Illmatic stuff, Nas Is Like, etc.. the whole time i was like

First off, due to the album that they are coming out with, they most likely will be performing together.



I have seen Nas once in concert. He performed at the Fillmore. I couldnt have been more disappointed with his show. Dude was forgetting the words, telling thedj "turn that off, I dont remember this." I have friends who saw him another time he came back to SF and said he was amazing.....but Im not messingwith him again. I love his albums, and still have most of them in in rotation, but I will never see Nas in concert again.



And this concert experience is what prevents me from saying Nas is one of the greats. One of the greats wouldnt forget his own lyrics. Period.

Saw him last year at Michigan State for free

anyway, in a way he was really good and really bad at the same time

this was RIGHT after Untitled dropped so I thought he was gonna do all that new stuff, to my surprise he did 2 or 3 songs from the new album then pretty muchall of Illmatic and a bunch of his other classics, it was pretty sweet
but at the same time, dude came on stage blown out of his mind, rapping lazy as hell, forgetting lines, stopping halfway thru a verse to get a drink

so Id say it really depends on what you wanna get out of the show I guess

Saw him last year for Rock the Bells...it was too dope.

He came out with Hip Hop is Dead then went into Illmatic and Stillmatic.

At one point he did Got Urself A Gun into Shoot 'Em Up, then Green Lantern hit us with the "OH S_ THEY SHOOTIN!!" and you already know what songwas next.

Last time he came to Budapest I paid the ticket went to the hall waited-waited and waited and he never showed up. Just dont listen o his music the same wayanymore....
