id venture a guess that J-How's "undecided" status on surgery is due to him now wanting to go under the knife. its a big reason why his wrist and ankles have been so shaky the past few years. he always opted to rest instead of getting surgery.

After all, the guy who went toe-to-toe with Lebron in the playoffs was injured, so can we use this to judge? Yes we can...cuz without Kobe the Lakers went on an impressive winning run and were competitive each night, the Celtics showed some mental fraility and just shows the nature of this squad this time around...done!

amen to that! i do hope these athletes realize that and be more aware of their effect to the community(*cough*gilbert/javaris*cough*)... that being said, its really nice of the nuggest to do this. i think they are one of the few teams ive been constantly seeing do these carity works. keep it up melo and gang!!!

The Nuggets organization is constantly doing great things in the community. Very easy to respect.

It's been great watching Carmelo mature over the past few years, after all the crap he was doing. Becoming a parent, as well as getting Smooth as a teammate, have helped him grow for the better as a person and player.

Bruh... This dude  HAS come a long way.  From not really wanting to be married to La La to having a new view on life once Kian arrived.  I am proud to say I know this dude.  I gave him, Kian and his wife a birthing present made by EL when Kian was born.    Joints were serious.

I definitely agree with all the comments made about Melo and his maturity and the Nuggets as an organization and corporate social responsibility stalwart. To the other teams credit/defense though...they all have their community outreach programs, we just don't get to see all....but anyway, to continue the point that picture is truly golden and chrystallizes in a sense Melo's transformation; a team leader as opposed to just a great scorer,  no conrows, role model (let's forget about the past missteps for now) and what I'm surprised none of you guys commented on, was him in those kicks rather than being in sneaks or J's...a bit awkward with the track suit but again...a different side of Melo...Definitely a lovely pic. And to re-emphasize what duke4005  said, it must've been really cool for that kid to have his dream come true in meeting Melo. It's really about that maybe more than even Melo and/or the Nuggets...
