Nah dude it was meant for the other dude. And to answer your question, no, I didn't get inspiration from NBA Jam. It's just a phrase I've heard that describes flashy players.

And good looks on the Orlando/Boston pictures, can't wait for the Lakers/Suns.

2 missed free-throws with seconds left adds to the Vince's history of choking at big moments....I know overall he's a big upgrade to Turkoglu but when he was brought over with the reasoning to be the "go-to" guy in clutch moments, I kinda squinted at that...

9 points wont cut it Jameer....you and Rashard gotta step up a lot more than 14 combined points in an ECF game...

NICK ANDERSON ?
Magic organization brought him back to .... remind those players how to choke and miss free throws ?
well, you couldn't find a more suitable player than he is.

So, how does Rashard Lewis feel that he gets paid that much ($19M/year), and he gives a 2-6 performance in Game 2, especially after a horrendous outing in Game 1. I know the Knicks have a history over overpaying. But, when Orlando dropped $120M+ on Lewis, I was scratching my head. I am still scratching my head. Maybe it's God's way of rewarding Rashard Lewis for waiting so long in the green room on Draft Night.

Amar'e gets a block here but still doesn't prevent another "lucky game" from Lamar...The Lakers have done a magnificent role-reversal in this series by putting up a gaudy 252 points in 2 games...something maybe Mike D'Antoni would've known about in his previous coaching stints when they outsed LA in past playoff matchups

You can blame the Suns inability to beat the Lakers on the three guys below. Let's be honest, no one expected the Suns to beat the Lakers. JRich and Grant Hill are playing well. But, I woud have expected better performances from these guys.

Steve Nash - I thought Nash would take more of an advantage against Fisher, and he hasn't. Nash is averaging 12 and 14 in the series. You need more than that from your leader. You need 25 and 15 from Nash. That seems like a lot, but against the Lakers, you need to step up (especially when you score as many points as you do). The one advantage a team has against the Lakers is the PG position. Like the Jazz, the Suns are not taking advantage. The reason why Thunder played the Lakers so well was because Westbrook outplayed Fisher. You're not getting that from Nash. And you didn't get that from Deron Williams in the previous series.

Channing Frye - he can't make a shot, but his lack of passion and ability to handle defensive rotations is in excusable.

Amare Stoudamire - We all knew his defense was suspect. But, he can't even guard Odom or Gasol one on one. It's not even close. Furthermore, he's late on help defense, which is hard to imagine given his athleticism. His defensive IQ (especially in a half court defensive set) is extremely low. How are you going demand max money if you can't defend. I realize he's a great offensive player, but he's getting outplayed. I know the Amare apologists will say he is getting no help. I respectfully disagree.

I'm not sure how ridiculous 25 and 15 in the Suns system. Nash's assists are always a bit overblown because their average posession is less than 13 seconds. Thus, more possessions and more assists and points. Suns need more than 12 points from Nash a game. When you shoot 50/40/90, you have to take advantage. Nash is only 5-5 from FT in TWO games. Need more touches and more shots from your best shooter.

So, I know this is a bit late, but when exactly did Jason Richardson switch to Peak? I remember him in Nikes during the regular season.

thanks..  knew it wasn't a court shoe, but figured it was something comfy to wear to practice..

frye really needs to step it up for game 3 and the rest of this series if the suns want to have any chance of extended this series to 6 or 7 games..  between him disappearing on offense and amare not playing any defense as usual its going to be a tough road ahead unless somethings changes..  i hope the fire gets lit and the can at least make this series a little more competitive..
