Dwight Howard is probably the most humble and coolest cat around. Steve Nash and Baron Davis are super classy also. I hosted them at my club in Beijing this past weekend for their Yao charity after party. All those other so called  "cats" are jokes. No, no...no, no and no (if your specifically asking about the World's Tournament this month). For 2012, although Colangelo and Coach K are looking for that 3 year commitment, I doubt it very much that next summer, with a potentially shorter NBA season, and no big free agent buzz (apart for Melo and CP3), that they'd refuse these guys if they decide to jersey-up for the red, white and blue and tough it out till the 2k12 games...

So get used to seeing Stephen Curry hoisting 3s and KD throwing down on some international dudes, whom, you'd think and hope they'd know by now not to judge him by his size....

Lots of the NBA stars have travelled to China during the offseason, to take part in charity pickup games, organize basketball camps and renew basketball contracts (UStream's most popular steamer last summer- who's got a tat on his head... if the first 2 clues didn't click). But for some, there was a more economic and commerical incentive for the travelling nearly a day in the air to get to China. Endorsements. Here's a few pics of a few of the NBA dudes who took time out to get some business done in the land of the best take away food...

 Well considering he's a native, Yao in China doesn't hold that same eyebrow raising factor but it definitely does when you see a pic like this. For the sake of irony and knowing what he's been through this past  year with foot surgery and rehab, knowing that we may very well see Yao travelling one of these two-wheeler contraptions if his foot doesn't hold up, does make you wonder...

 Promoting the Monster brand for earphones....maybe coming to a Radio Shack near you...

 And if you haven't heard or thought it was a lie...KG waves goodbye to the Adidas Brotherhood....

 ..... and salutes Anta, his new shoe gig, at a welcoming party at one of the company's shoe factories.

 I doubt it very much...but until Media day, we might never know...

 KG had some pretty decent signature kicks with And1 and Adi (before they went the Team Signature route)...interesting to see how Anta makes a bigger splash into the shoe arena with him rather than with just Luis Scola...

 One of the lesser names in the L, who's finally getting the praise he deserves as a team player, hard worker and bruiser..Carl Landry also took time to attend to his corporate affiliates...

 And unveil his new shoe. Looks very similar to J-Rich's own if I'm not mistaken...

 Moving on...we move on to Grandfather Kidd...

 Unfortunately the only image of what resembles his new kicks for the 10/11 season...And if we have anything to go on, in terms of his first 2 shoes...a supposedly very simple lateral design and probably some crazy pattern on the inner/medial side...(anyone with any pics of what this is to be...do us the favour and post...)

 And finally the much loved (and hated) rapper extraordinaire, Interviewer and Interviewee,  dodgeball player, Nostradamus himself, who predicted his fate ...the "Champion" (best song ever from a ball player?) Ron-Ron was also around the Chinese blocks as well

 Giving him a samurai sword may not be a good idea...but I see no pics of an ambulance,  and no news headlines of an NBA player gone mad with a sword anywhere, so everything went down alright
