Does anyone know what the story is behind the black and white checkered pattern on the Bobcats alternate?

And also what is with the trend of teams wearing road jerseys at home and vice versa? I assume it obviously to sell more jerseys to home fans who have already got the home jersey, but is there any rhyme or reason to it all? I mean 10 years ago this was something that would never happen...

NASCAR day tribute....if you saw the game or checked the highlights also, there were some NASCAR drivers who paticipated in a layup drill before tipoff...

and your logic of the use of away jerseys at home games and it not happening at all in previous years is pretty sound, the obvious parallel to this also is the 50-50 rule with the kicks now possibly a part of "history," hence the eye-popping colourways now rather than in the All Star game or during  the playoffs...with the ailing/recovering economies and franchise and league debts, anything to spur sales will be used

 Fifty point home loss, worst ever...yikes!!! Not even the Bulls of the 90's got that honour to trounce on NY like that (well yea yea, more physical league, better roster yadda yadda)...and strangely enough I had a dream last night that Knicks made the playoffs and celebrating...damn those hallucinations!

 That right there is a smile/smirk of satisfaction....not being buried on that Knickerbocker roster must be a relief

 And as expected, somewhere in the locker room or on the bench, Hughes will unsuccessfully try to hide a smile...Why can't  this dude settle on any team he goes?

 The 2010 summer sun really is taking a while huh...well he does need a tan!

 And even in such a bad loss David Lee still manages a double-double (11-14).....this dude is special....and so the All-Star debate rages on.....

 How satisfying it was to see those 2 free throws drop from Turk...which then sets up another 1 point down, come from behind, buzzer beating Kobe Bryant moment....

..on another note though 27-16 assts and 9rebs on a brken finger is quite impressive!

The Foye Flippin's are colored up nicely both home and away.. Carons not so much.... but Im still surprised that even though the NBA gave the Industry the openess to let them where damn near what they want.. why the teams wouldn't go ALL one dominant color for home and away.
