agreed....not doubting your point Kendogg05 but with some clarifiction it could sort out somelong wondered ponderings on why Shaq's kicks didnt/dont have Li-Ning logos....then u'd have one of the most meaningful first time contributions to NTin the decade that it has existed

Well I live here in Beijing China right now. The Peak owner is my good friend, so i do know some inside information. Shoot i helped them signed most of theirplayers, JKidd and so. When Li Ning signed Shaq, they did not have any deals with the NBA. So Shaq's game shoes did not have any Li Ning logos on them. TheShaq shoes sold here in Li Ning stores all had Shaq and Li Ning logos, but after they signed Jose and BDiddy they also signed a contract with the NBA to sellaccessories, which makes them a NBA partner, which means the Li Ning logo can go on the shoes. Hope that helps.

All shoe companies have to pay NBA, regardless it's an endorsement contract or just supplying shoes to non-contract players like a lotrookies.
Shaq owns his DUNKMAN brand and logo, and his contract with Li-Ning is that LN has the right to design/make products with DUNKMAN logo on them. (I can'tremember the last few years when Shaq was with Lakers, he had shoes under brand name DUNKMAN, but it was a sub brand of some company I can't remember thename.) The GR version of Shaq's LN has Li-Ning logo tho. It's like on Jordan shoes you don't see swoosh, but jordan brand is part of Nike.
In fact, Shaq has worn the wht/grey/orange pair with Li-Ning logo on the heel, just fyi.
