Cousins needs to call Zack Randolph so he can learn to be effective as a big man without playing above the rim. Aka get a mid range game and actually use your body size to your advantage when you have the ball in the paint.

I see bballkid11 bballkid11 got that Rockets and Cavs logic going as to why things are going to happen. Raptors are just the better team sans KD. They've outplayed the Warriors the vast majority of all 3 games. KD being out brought the Warriors margin of error back to zero, the signs were there during the Blazers series, Portland just didn't have the talent and mental fortitude to capitalize on it.

Y'all looking like climate change deniers out here right now talking about WWE and entertainment purposes instead of examining what's actually happening on the court. Steph CAN'T get off when FVV is on the floor, Klay ain't going to be 100% when he gets back, Boogie is a liability on the floor, the Raptors role players confidence is sky high, and Kawhi still hasn't had THAT game yet. It's looking shaky.

KD ain't walking thru that door.

FVV lol
Kawhi will not have that game. He has had 2 good games for someone who is on 1 leg. He is food on defense at this point too.

Even if Klay and KD are physically cleared to play they still have to get over the mental hurdle.

KD hasn’t scrimmaged in a month and y’all expect him to drop 40 in his return game.

Same w/ Klay

Are both gonna risk their bag after seeing what happened to Cousins?

I totally agree. But it is just them being out there makes everything open up.
Rather than Livingston and others you do not even have to guard.

They can still hit a open 3 without being 100%

Don't know why FVV gets a lol. Mans has played EXCELLENT defense on Steph limiting his shot attempts let alone makes when he's guarding him. It's why him starting in the 3rd was a crucial adjustment by NN.

Defensive numbers in Games 1 and 2
It was no surprise that VanVleet guarded Curry for the bulk of Game 1. Since he comes off the bench, VanVleet didn’t start the game on Curry, but he did play 33 minutes – effectively a starter’s role – and was Curry’s primary defender for 33 possessions, more than double any other Raptor.
Game 2 was even more of the same. With Lowry in foul trouble, VanVleet played 38 minutes and guarded Curry on 38 possessions, once again a team-high. Though Curry got going a little more, with nine points and four assists while defended by VanVleet, he still shot just 1-for-4 on those possessions while the Warriors struggled to score efficiently as a team.

Can they play d tho?

If Nick Nurse started the game w/ FVV on Curry and used the box and 1, Raptors probably win by 20+

FVV has balled, and played good D. But he cannot stop Curry. They trap him when FVV is guarding him. Curry was never an Iso player to begin with so those numbers are skewed by thinking he is going 1 on 1 vs FVV.

I think the raptors have won all but one or two quarters in this series. The warriors are obviously banged up...

The Raptors losing 3 games in a row is highly unlikely. They are the better team unless KD comes back. I’m skeptical that he and / or Klay will be back for game 4 but I lean Toronto unless KD comes back which would be incredible seeing as he hasn’t done anything with the team since literally game 5 vs Houston.

I think the dubs have went down at least 15 in every game since KD’s been hurt. They've lost 15 of 18 quarters since he’s been down. That’s starting not to be a coincidence anymore and the raptors are really good

How? They won 2 games against the Rockets, 4 against Portland and 1 in this series since he's gone down. No way have they done this with only winning 2 quarters.

warriors have no real spacing with last nights roster. draymond has the ball at the top of the 3 and doesnt even LOOK at the rim when hes wide open. his shooting has declined every year for the past like 3 years. hes not a threat at all and it hurts the team since he handles the ball so much. livingston is still scared to step behind the 3 point line and now his signature mid range isnt falling either.

jerebko's honeymoon phase is over and now that they need him to play bigger minutes hes exposed. cousins isnt even as consistent as javale was at this point. dude just isnt conditioned yet. they lost looney which was big. bell is basically a placeholder while the other players get rest.

its legit steph and quinn cook who is suddenly forced into a starters role on the biggest stage trying to replace the production of klay AND kd...

all of this contributes to the fact that the paint is LOCKED UP on every possession now for the warriors. they gotta stretch the floor or they dont have a chance.

i completely agree with you; with exception to his dumb overly optimistic passes, dray's in the conversation for MVP of this playoff run. but for the last 2 or 3 years cats on NT been swearin on gawd that yukmouth was "overrated" and just a beneficiary of his situation on the warriors. now suddenly he's an all-star to them? these dudes switch lanes like theyre about to miss their exit.
As much as Draymond has accomplished and developed, I don’t think he becomes All-NBA All-Star on any other team than the Warriors
Still happens but that’s all after the fact
security saw that **** happen live and didn’t want to kick him out. Neither did the ref. They didn’t escort him out until the broadcast showed the replay and he was caught on tape.

Shoeking's math is a bit off. They've won 13 quarters since KD has been out going back to game 5 of the HOU series (3 vs HOU, 8 vs POR, 2 vs TOR). A few 1 point quarter wins in there for sure. So that's 13/29 quarters w/o KD that they've won. Still far below their usual.

All warriors might need is klay to win the series. As long as steph keeps shooting the way he does.
