Terry Stotts is doing a good job but if they ran everything through Dame his profile would be higher. If Dame played for D’antoni people like @B Sox wouldn’t be as comfortable trying to highlight isolated low points in an attempt to put the larger body of work in question.

Dame is good enough to have a very high profile without having to put forth an alternate reality where Curry never happened. He’s a coaching change away from the profile you speak of.

Dame is great, and I'm loving what he's doing now. Would take him over Russ any day.

Let's not completely forget about him being absolutely pathetic in the playoffs last season though. 19 PPG on 35/30 shooting splits while getting completely abused by Jrue Holiday en route to being swept.
