Deferring is allowing someone else to take control of the offense as a whole. To allow to become the #1 option, primary ball handler, vocal leader, etc.
Making the right basketball play is never deferring. It showcases leadership and IQ, and a willingness to bring out the best in the player getting the ball, as well as the team. That’s about prioritizing wins, not deferring as a player.

It's dont really agree. Kyle always brings it with the defense and the passing. He just has to hunt his shot to make Philly respect him a bit.
Made some important shots when we were fading.

Look man. I think you’re missing my point here... Kawhi is a great player.. I’ve said he is top 4-6 in the league right now. But I question him leading a team all the way. I’m not sure someone with his personality and flakiness can do it year in year out.

True. And I partly agree. But what are the odds Philly wins 2 games in Toronto?
I still like Philly for the series, but I'm leaning towards it being a toss up right now. Think this is probably going 7.

Yeah I don't agree, the jumper comes and goes but he just is integral to the team functioning. It's a cliche but it's all the little things.

Yeah I don't think Philly is even defending Kawhi that bad, just today others made some big plays (Gasol, Ibaka)
Kawhi hasn't had a bad shooting night, despite incredible shot making. IMO that game is coming, the 76ers are for the most part defending him well. They have a chance in game 5. They definitely need better Embiid though and for Tobias to make open ******* shots
