I love the town and therefore i love Dame as a human being and what he reps, but yall gotta stop stating hypotheticals as fact.
Steph was back2back mvp and somehow he can suddenly be replaced by any PG that has range and can score. Yall might as well argue that trae couldve replaced steph that first championship season

And Klay...lol he is definitely not leaving GSW. He plays like trash 70 percent of the playoffs (minus pretty good defense overall) and he doesn’t even get a mention as a cause for the loss. Anywhere else they would hunt him down with pitchforks

Embiid has been out PLENTY in his career and there’s only been a couple pics I can think of that have leaked to the internet. So he finds a way to do what he wants without the whole world knowing.
The only way I’m believing he was actually sick today is if he wasn’t actually sick the game before last. One of those two games was a cover for something else.

I think Dame is a dynamic player and can do everything curry does just a level below. That being said with that exactly same roster the the Oakland warriors would still be champs

He is 6’3, 190lbs with an average wingspan and spends every offensive set in motion when he’s not pulling from 30ft+, which he shoots 40%+ from mind you. So while he’s not even physically built to guard to some of the wings they switch him on to, is it worth it for him to expend that energy when he has some combination of Dray, Iggy, Klay or KD on the court with him other than to prove to NTers he had mamba blood?

It’s a hypothetical and your opinion so I can not argue it but I will respect it. I think the timing of your proclamation was a bit unfortunate considering Dame is a 90% career FT shooter and I just watched him miss three crucial FTs at home in what could have been a nail in the coffin game in the WCSF.
Similar to your claim about Dame replacing Steph = Championship, one could speculate Dame would have similar, if not more egregious, moments such as tonight as the stage enlarged and the lights illuminated. No need to go there, though.

I don’t know if anyone else watched the pregame but they were discussing how Kawhi said he wanted to be a Top 50 Player of All-Time and Jalen, Chauncey and PP respected that he didn’t say GOAT but also said he should probably aim higher because he might already be there
He just gets to his spots with ease on offense. I legitimately understand the style of play comparisons to Jordan.

I said it two years ago when he was healthy and I’ll say it now. I’m taking Kawhi > KD. He’s just now scratching the surface in his prime.
I know KD has the more luxurious career and been putting up big time numbers , but I want Kawhi on MY team. Probably taking him over every perimeter player CURRENTLY not named Giannis if we talking the next 3-5 years.
