KD really didn't trust his teammates to guard James in the 4th

Man was waving off Steph like " FOH you can't guard this man"

Rockets barely winning games and it’s because warriors struggling

This is not good

I want rockets to take this series but have a feeling they getting blown the **** out in Oakland

Y’all serious? All games have been close. If we’re barely winning then so have the Warriors. Don’t act like the Rockets haven’t struggled either.

Because gsw will shoot better? Or the rockets won't?

Both. Bruh...the rockets are shooting like 40 something percent from 3 on a crazy volume...and barely winning. While GSW is shooting terribly and still really within a make striking distance.

Rockets formula usually was their sheer volume would overpower their average efficiency. They’ve lost two games in which they've the shot the blood out of the ball on a high volume from 3....while 3 of the greatest shooters are missing decent looks from 3.

We shot BELOW our season average today. Come on man.

We didn’t even shoot the 3 ball that well. Below our season average.

The series has gone by the hustle - rebounds especially offensive rebounds. Gotta keep that in Oracle which will be tough.
I mean, they shot 37% tonight and the season avg is 38.5%. In addition the rockets have had the best defense in the NBA since the all star break. So...yep

Not sure what team your’re referring to but it ain’t the Rockets.

We shot 34% today with our average being about ~36%

The warrrios shot 8-33 from 3 tonight.....

Y’all hit 17 of them thangs tonight...do the math if the Warriors shoot even a tiny bit better from 3. He’ll, they make 9 threes out of 33...we having a diff discussion right now.

Da F.

Game 1 Rockets shoot better then 30% from 3 and make a couple more we having a diff discussion now.

Y’all wildin with that nonsense.

Houston hits 35% as a team all year. 38 % tonight. Gsw was about on par with season avg. Credit goes to Houston defensively for limiting good looks. Houston's game was always 3s by volume as you stated.

But the numbers don't support that either team is doing anything out of character as far as shooting the ball. Imo. I could see your point of Houston were shooting 55% from 3 and/or of gsw were shooting 30%...But but neither are the case.

Imo

Game 1...the Rockets shot 17/40 from 3...(43%) and LOST...GSW was 11/36 (31%) and won.

You don’t think history points to the greatest shooting perimeter trio having 1 or 2 great shooting games and winning playing this formula...

Idk what to tell you :lol.

You even math bro? Rockets made it easy by shooting exactly 50 3s.

Here’s a trick instead of dividing. Multiple the 17 by 2 and you get 34. That means 34% for below their season average.

Eh idk. Y'all looking shaky. Fatigue is going to start to set in and that ain't good when y'all already struggling from 3. Shoulda closed game 3 coming off 3 days rest.

"Houston played very well and GSW still had a chance to win"

This is what happened in games one and two for GSW. It's 2-2. Even series.

But GSW's death lineup being extended to this extent is concerning. For most of that game (Idk where it ended up at) But the death lineup was being killed by the Rockets starers and Rockets core 4+Rivers.

Game 5 is a toss up. Klay and Steph haven't hit 3's but they're also playing 43 minutes a night and steph in particular, is getting targeted.

fatigue works both ways. both harden and cp3's careers have both been characterized by their lack of "durability" down the stretch, especially if this series gets extended past 6 games.

harden with 45, 40, and 34 the last three games. and 34yo chris paul playing 36, 44, and 40 in that same stretch. death lineup's oldest player is Iggy and he's out there playing like he didnt play a minute of the regular season. warriors gonna blow them out game 5 by the start of the 4th quarter. early rest will be had for both teams and this "fatigue" won't be an issue when starters only play ~30 minutes on wednesday. i got that bballkid type of confidence saying this

You see woe looking spry out there off the bounce tho....shakies byke. Good development...open 3s drop...and you know what it is.

:nerd:

He was definitely in his bag today. I wish he would go downhill more like James. The 3's he takes are so tough. I'm worried about fatigue on both sides. I picked rockets in 6 but I'm not betting on it. I don't have a feel either way. The Warriors are down to like 5 players and looney. May just come down to who isn't as fatigued and is making the timely baskets in the 4th. Evenly matched.

Bro. You got the wrong game lol.

Game 1 Rockets shot below 30% from 3. And lost by 4. Come on.

@bballkid11 you gotta disappear until next season if Rockets lose this series.

@bballkid11 you’re my guy and all (no John Amaechi) but if your Top 2 highlights this season are 1. relentlessly confirming in the regular season thread an AD to LAL trade that never happened and 2. adamantly claiming Rockets in 7 over GSW as if it is a matter of fact.....We might might to revoke your credentials for the off-season thread pleighboi.

Harden and KD matching each other. Guarding each other. Amazing basketball.

And clowns in here talking about push-offs. FOH. Y'all don't and can't hoop

nah we hoop. we just see push offs. reggie called it the “chicken wing.” Harden’s great at using only his forearm and elbow to give the appearance of a slight nudge. If you can cheat the system, and refs dont call it, why not?

But you’re spot on, kd and harden matching up with each other...bball pornography right there
