Kyrie has played horrible this series no doubt... but literally all of Kyrie's numbers have either stayed the same or improved in the playoffs overall, and he played an integral role in the Cavs comeback vs GS

i hope people aren't gonna start trying to make this a narrative based on this one series.

It's not just one series. He's been beyond garbage the whole playoffs. Not a #1 option

I’m not defending Kyrie’s awful performance. Just noticing he’s become the sole target for most Boston fan’s ire when multiple elements of the team have **** the bed this year.

He's not the only reason, but he drew too much attention to himself. He put the onus on himself.

Lets not build a narrative based on his playoff career with Lebron.

Kyrie wants to be a leader. He wants to be the man. He wants to be Kobe status. He’s not good enough. Period. You will never win a title with Kyrie being the #1 on your team and that’s fine, that level of player is rare. But it’s gunna be a problem until Kyrie learns and realizes he’s not that guy.

Kyrie’s ceiling is 2nd option iso scorer. He’s not a point guard. He’s not guarding anybody on defense. He’s an undersized 2 that gets buckets. Very useful skill and he’s supremely talented but you’re not winning a title with him as your #1. Will never happen.

Kyrie either goes wherever KD goes or he’s going to the Sixers where he he’ll have Embiid, Jimmy and Ben. He’s realized he can’t do this **** with being the #1 guy.

How can the Sixers sign Kyrie? Are they just going to let Jimmy and Harris walk for nothing? Also, if the Sixers had Kyrie what would Ben Simmons non-shooting behind due on the court if the ball is not in his hand anymore?

Okay so he's having one bad playoffs, he's also had some phenomenal playoffs in the past. i'm not rolling with he isn't a #1 option.

When has he been a #1 option? IT's celtics were a 1 seed. Only reason they were even a 4 seed this year is because Vic got hurt and there's no competition at all past 5 in the east or they would've been even lower

So Tobi walking in this scenario? Gave up yae yae for no reason?

Kyrie I think

Knicks (W/KD)
Nets (w/KD)
Clippers (w/KD or Kawhi)

I thought his supreme skill level and regular season would circumvent it, but it legit looks like he's too small to be a number 1 option. Milwaukee has flanked him with size, and playing with a crowd, he just appears to be too small to get clean looks in a 7 game series against an elite defense like Milwaukee. This is his first playoff run w/o Bron and it hasn't been good at all, but it looks like a size issue to me.

Shots have just simply been too hard

Those who are making him out to be the only reason for Boston’s terrible chemistry are likewise practicing very wishful thinking.

Kyrie deserves every bit of slander he's receiving. First, he forces his way out of Cleveland because he doesn't want to be in the Lebrons shadow, he wants his own team. then he misses last season's playoffs, we can't really knock him for that but this entire season all he's done is talk through the media about leading his young guys, "I'm the only one who's going to championship on this roster, I know what it takes to win" leadership, etc.

This team has consistently played below their talent level the entire season and he supposed to fixing it as the leader, all Kyrie said all season was wait till the playoffs, I'm not worried, etc. Well the playoffs have come and he still hasn't stepped up.

if the requirement for being a #1 option is based around your team winning a title with you as the head guy then how many of these players do we have in general.

dude has showed countless times that he can take over games/ critical stretches during the most important times of the game. i'm not gonna take this one year in Boston as the sole reason he can't be a #1 guy, he's had one & a half years to prove himself as one.
