It’s round 2 of the playoffs and you’re questioning this mans hunger. Think about it. When’s the last time he scored in the 4th this series? This the same dude that still hasn’t attempted a 3 pointer. This the same dude that couldn’t lead LSU to the tournament. This the same dude that scored 1 point in a playoff game. simmons 100% has the mentality if he CHOOSES to take it to the hole every game to get the layups/dunks or get fouled but hes scared to take FTs.. he proved it all season long getting to th hole when he wanted to turn up.. for ex game vs nets i think it was game 3. He CHOSE to turn up that game

he also chose to turn up when embiid missed half of the 2nd end of the season this year but not many talked about his performances during them games

i agree he AINT greek freak with the foot work or handles but lets not act like he aint got the strength or skills to become one like that in the paint its just he acts lazy at times.. greek plays at 100% EVERY GAME

Listen, as I've said plenty of times while slandering Ben, he's the most frustrating player in the league. The talent to be on the same level as Giannis but he doesnt give it all every night. He only responds when getting slandered like "Oh yall thought I was trash, watch this". If the mofo actually played liked that night in and night out, no one would complain

He does "CHOOSE" when to play hard (especially on offense) but his KIL on the lower side

I rarely say this, but I think I speak for a lot of folks in this thread when I say that Ben Simmons simply can’t be taken seriously until he starts attempting three pointers and more mid-range jumpers. I, personally, cannot accept “that’s not his game, though” as a retort. He is a lead guard. Shooting is a requirement for his position/role. He puts no pressure on the defense and allows an additional defender to roam. I can’t think of any big-time guard, which is what Benjamin is expected to be, that has no semblance of of 15ft+ game.

The problem with Embiid is his body doesn't know how to play consecutive games.... missing season, strings of 10+ games, back to backs.....his body knows something ain't right when playing 2 games in 5 days. smh

Hence why I was harping for Mr Bad Shoulder to be the lead guard. Yes his shot is gone but he still was able to get to the rim and hit the 15 fter and run a proper PnR. Until Simmons decides to add a 15 fter and a corner 3, he's gonna be in the very good but not ELITE tier

We were LeBron’s only other team he even considered besides going back to the team he was already on and the one he ended up choosing.

Kyrie being with another big ball handler like he was with previously as well as a dominant big man that is already the #1 option and one of his best friends in Jimmy who can also be a #1 option so he wouldn’t have all of it on his shoulders would make a lot of sense. Would allow us to move Ben to an actual point forward position and have a real point guard facilitating things.

Plus the whole “call me” thing with Embiid where they met after the game and spoke in the hallway afterwards and exchanged numbers.
