After Game 1 last series Ben Simmons averaged 19-9-7 on over 65% from the field while locking up the Nets All-Star point guard.

Ben is the 5th option on the top rated starting 5 in the league. If you’re looking at his numbers for scoring 20+ every night you’re gonna be disappointed. He’s basically a Swiss Army knife on steroids at this point in his career. Once he wants to actually shoot the ball he can be a lot more than that, but he’s still elite at the things he actually does on the floor.

This series has not been a good one for Ben, but he’s also in his second season of playing NBA basketball and being guarded by the best perimeter defender in the league for most of his time on the court and having to guard the dude while he’s legitimately playing like prime MJ on offense.
