my dad offered to give me an 2005 v6 acura TL 4 door in exchange for my 04 4cylinder honda accord coup.

I just need to pay a 1g for a transmission for the acura. is this worth it?

I mean is the Acura extremely clean? Is your Honda in good shape? Only way I would consider this is if the Acura is super clean and just needs the Trans assuming your Honda is a POS?

the honda has a huge dent on the side form a deer and my dad had to repair it many times for countless other issues. (hes a mechanic)

I think he thinks the honda is close to its life cycle
