I too missed out (was doing laundry), but I'm not even mad anymore. Not mad at the drop time, mad at myself for not having my phone near me at the time.
There's sure to be more preorders going up on other sites, and if not there's still in store stock to look forward to on release day. If it comes down to it, just be prepared to camp and you'll get one.

The Tuesday alerts were garbage, it was like they were legit not working for anyone.
As for today's Walmart restock, Walmart pulled an "Amazon" and used a new preorder link........hence why more people were able to cook this time around.
It seems the Amazon preorder process is setting a standard for the SNES Classic.

Stay strong brethren, we all shall flourish. I ended up with 5 NES minis last year, if you follow the gaming account twitter accounts, you will be alert when the next round of preorders go live. Toys R Us should be plentiful

if i cant get a preorder i plan on taking off from work and camping out like 5 hours before... is that good enough to guarantee a system? when i copped ps2 on release day it was from toys r us and i went at 6 and they open at 10... i got mines but i was like 30th in line luckily they had a decent amount... they still sold out with everyone in line copping just 1 though

you're going back almost 20 years if you're talking about the PS2 release, things have changed dramatically since then, people line up for all kinds of things now, I'd bank on at least an overnight stay.

I remember asking Toys R Us online about the NES Classic last year and they had said the same thing about in store on release day. Then they released them online like at 2am PST on the release day with the pick up in store as the only option to get them. So technically it was in store on release day. Maybe they'll do the same again. I hope so. I came up that night

If I do come across a few again, I plan to do the same as last time.
NTers used to hook each other up on the reg, goes to show how times have changed. If you need the money get your hustle on though, can't knock it.
