Nets looking to go on a Second Half surge (hopefully just winning streaks) and it starts with out Band-Aid McGrady. I hope that any trade that involves VC willbe for the right reasons while also bringing in players that will contribute. If we only had 15 wins, I would be pleading for a VC deal but right now, I am notto sure that this is the right move. In thorn we trust. GO NETS.

send vc to us

2 rumors I've heard (with Houston) -

1. VC & Hassell for McGrady
2. VC & Boone for Landry, Artest, Head, & Battier

Personally, I hope neither of these deals are done...Neither would get us to the playoffs & the "over achieving" season (according to preseasonpredictions) is a waste & can go down hill QUICK.

2 days until the deadline, when its all said & done, hopefully nothing stupid is done.

Yi's back tonight, hope he can continue his play from when he went out with that injury.

Go Nets! (Break out the shiny All Star shoes again Devin! lol)

Rockets owner just said no way he's trading McGrady... So we either get a family reunion with Tracy or nothing...

I think L Frank tried to prove a point with the change of rotation tonight with VC going to the bench first instead of DH.

What point do you think he's trying to make? Is he trying to show Vince's worth to the team or something?

WHOA

I just think he does not want him to go either.

Does not matter right now anyway since the team is playing like crap

Even in a blowout, I can listen to Marv & Czar's banter.

The T-Mac trade conversation and the top teams in the West conversation were great to listen to.

Best duo in terms of chemistry. For me at least.

We were playing defense up until this game.

If Mo is dressed, he should of been in by now but I think he is street clothes.

Happy to see Sean out there though.

No D, no bench production, & there's your game...

Another game tommorow though, so they can bounce right back.

They got crushed on the boards period.

And yeah, Barry's pass was sweet. Reminded me of his Oregon St days when he used to fly.

Please, please let Carter go to a contender. Don't let him waste the couple of good years he has left in him...

Rockets owner: McGrady staying put

HOUSTON (AP)-Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander said Tuesday that oft-injured star Tracy McGrady won't be dealt before Thursday's trade deadline.

McGrady sat out Tuesday's game against New Jersey as he seeks input from doctors on the best course of treatment for his troublesome left knee. He's missed 18 games this season with the injury, the aftermath of offseason surgery. He sat out another game with a sprained ankle.

Alexander said "there will probably be some news" about McGrady in "a couple of days," but it won't be an announcement that the seven-time All-Star has been traded.

"I don't think we're going to part ways with Tracy," Alexander said. "We acquired a great superstar and everybody wants us to trade the great superstar. You don't get superstars that often."

The Rockets acquired McGrady from Orlando in June 2004. He's due to make over $23 million next season, the last year of his contract.

"We're not looking to run away from Tracy," Alexander said. "I always thought he was injured and he had problems. But he's a great player when he's healthy, and a great competitor."

Alexander also said he wants to keep All-Star center Yao Ming for his entire career. Yao's contract is due to expire after the 2010-11 season.

"When you have great players, we want to keep them, guys who work as hard as he does," Alexander said. "He's a model NBA player. We want to keep him for the rest of his career."

Alexander also announced a partnership with Uni-President China Holdings, a Chinese distribution company. The company will team with Alexander's foundation to build educational facilities for schools in China.
