I'm thinking about doing ~6-7 day trip to NO for NYE, never been before.
1.) Where is the ideal area to stay near cool stuff/attractions? French Quarters?
2.) Renting a car a must? walk able areas? public transit? or just uber here and there?
3.) How crazy is the city around that time? any particular spots to keep in mind for NYE?
plan on using airbnb...main objective is to eat delicious cajun food, see/do fun stuff, and walk around daily with a 20 oz styrofom cup of drink
