soo close to Lakers 19....and sooo far from 33

but lets go rockets!

Amazing streak. But if I were a betting man (I don't know which site to use to bet on games\spreads) I would def. bet in favor of the Hornets since theRockets will be considered faorites almost EVERY game they play.

IF we can pull this one out, we have a good chance at pushing it to 21 before the Lakers game

We can beat this team. If rafer keeps playing they way he been playing through this streak, this should be a good game. Although idk if thats going to happensince he will be against paul.

If we beat the Hornets, we would have the same record they do.

Andthis might be a stupid question but how come in the standings on NBA.com it says New Orleans is 3rd and Utah is 4th when Utah is leading their division and NewOrleans isn't?

Once again I am going to have to root for my hometown team again.. So for the 3rd time I'll rooting against the Hornets in this one..

Is David West going to be available for this game??? And are we finally going to see more of Julian Wright ..

New Orleans has a better record. Leading the division just guarantees home court = top 4 seeds (except when the team you play in the post-season has abetter record- via Rockets vs Jazz last year). Top 4 Seeds are then rearranged by their record.

Rockets have a shot to jump up to the 3rd seed I think if they win tonight.

CP3 is the only real threat on the Hornets. Scola/Landry/Hayes can lock down West. Chandler isn't much of an offensive threat, so Dikembe can lay offhim, dare him to shoot the jumper, and just roam the paint and finger wag instead. Battier will lock down Peja. It's just a question of Skip being ableto keep CP3 in front of him.

With all that said though, I don't see much has changed since the Rockets blew out the Hornets by 20 two weeks ago.

Rockets should continue the streak tonight, and push it up to 18.

Why are the Lakers listed so many times on the all time win streaks?

This should be a good matchup, though with all the people out it loses a little luster. But every night there is another crucial west matchup.

David West is out for NO.

Carl Landry is out for the Rockets with a bruised knee.
Gerald Green was cut to make room for the signing of Mike Harris.

Rockets by 5.

Will landry be back for the next game? And shoot we didnt even get a chance to see green play along side tmac. Whos this guy harris? any good?

Harris was on the team in preseason and was very impressive, but he was the cheapest player to cut so he didnt make the squad. He plays like amini-landry...hes only 6'6 but plays PF. Can hit the mid range and is active on the boards.
