Similar thing happened to my homeboy i grew up with matter fact...he was an All American d lineman, ranked #1 and all that...him and a couple other dudes shot somebody in the head and he still in jail now

i hate to keep quoting myself (although i really don't) but even if they say he didn't pull the trigger, he was still there. it's reasonable to think he may have orchestrated the entire thing.

i'm fairly certain they'll be able to prove that "there was a joint plan among them, and the defendant joined in that plan".the fact that he was in the car with them and the car being in his name, him destroying his phone and security systems seems like they could claim he joined in on the conspiracy even if it wasn't him who pulled the trigger. and the last quote claims that he doesn't have to be found guilty of the murder to be found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder.

He was charged with MURDER, not conspiracy.

My iPad kept cutting out but they were able to pinpoint their location via text messages sent from victim to his sister (at least that's what I heard). Think she asked who he was with or who he upset and he replied NFL

The text messages weren't nothing crazy

the victim texted his sister "do you see who I'm with?"

a few minutes later "NFL, just so you know"

she didn't respond until later and said her phone was dead.

It does give off the impression that the victim knew something was about to go down.
