I'm hearing more and more about the Yanks possibly trading for Contreras. Not sure if they should mess with the team or their closeness. Plus this guy's a FA soon , i think. He'd be a rental and he's also gonna want some big bread. Stanton and Judge are gonna be like 70-80 mill a yr soon, just those 2. He's good but like i said, if it's working ....

Welp 7-1/2 years left of Cole. He’s gonna opt out after 2024 and we’ll add the extra 1/$36mil through 2029.
On the bright side Stras had some injury history and Cole doesn’t really. Just minor couple weeks stuff.
So Yankees can rest easy a bit with that. Though everything is always unpredictable. But I think even with 7-1/2 years left. Half of that AT THE MINIMUM will be well worth it.
