I don't think he's close to being stretched out to start. I think using him for 1-2 innings is our best best. About to get Loaisiga back too so that middle relief could become a huge strength real quick. Get 5 from SP and then let Sevy, Loaisiga, Green, Holmes, and Chapman close it out. Sevy and Loaisiga can both give you 2 innings on a given night.

What a clutch hit by Hig, that’s crazy.

I really don’t get playing Voit there in such a big spot (who has sat for games) and sitting Gardner (who just had a big hit a couple innings ago. Think that was a big mistake. And I’ve been begging for Voit to get on the field and Gardner to get off.

Kind of crazy having Loasiga in such a huge spot after not pitching for weeks
