Chapman's struggles are worrisome. Can't help but wanted if the sticky stuff is an issue for him with as much as he sweats. Great W though. Huge 9th.

Nah it’s annoyance with poor managing. Boone also sitting Andujar has well when he’s been doing pretty well lately.

Day off yesterday. And a day game after night game on Thursday means you probably take him out of the lineup twice needlessly. Rather than once at the end of the series and have him fresh for the whole weekend series.
He’s been the best player on the team for the last month. .

Also it’s not a weird infatuation, it’s sick of idiots who have a bad take about him, and I know how much it bothers people when he plays well.
Who gets mad when he plays well? He's been absolutely horrendous at times. Thankfully he's playing well right now. Hope he keeps it up bc the offense needs it badly.

It's pretty clear that Cole prefers throwing to Higgy at this point. Not that unusual. Maddux and Eddie Perez come to mind. Dervish has Caratini. Kershaw and Barnes. Sure it sucks when Cole starts after an off day when it would be nice to have Gary's bat in the lineup but it is what it is.

Judge a triple shy of the cycle. Voit with a bomb. Sanchez staying hot at the plate with a single and a bomb.

Just a couple weeks ago I was thinking we would probably never see this Sanchez again. Im happy for him, hope he can keep it up.

Some great wins, that first loss in this series was brutal though.

If Cole is going to be an inconsistent SP with some good games and almost as many duds with no sticky stuff, which is what he was for the Pirates, we're ****** for a while.
